Cap Ferrat oozes Côte d’Azur charm and style. The exclusive peninsula attracts A-list visitors and a luxury villa on Cap Ferrat will give you a perfect private base from which to explore the nearby beaches.

Cap Ferrat Region Guide

The narrow streets of the town are lined with boutiques and chic cafes, and the port, which was once given over to fishing, now teems with luxury yachts. You’ll enjoy beautiful coastal walks under pines with terrific views on a luxury villa holiday in Cap Ferrat and there are lots of opportunities to sample the fresh seafood that the region is known for.

Cap Ferrat is surely one of the most beautiful places on the Mediterranean coast and has long been attracting Europe’s glitterati. Scented pine and palm trees sprinkled with spectacular luxury villas, Cap Ferrat is a small peninsular almost surrounded by turquoise seas and hidden rocky coves.

There are three main beaches: Passable Plage, Croix des Pins and Paloma Plage, with the latter being rated as one of the 10 best beaches of the Côte D’Azur.

The charming little town of St. Jean Cap Ferrat with its atmospheric narrow streets and enticing street cafés has no shortage of designer boutiques to ensure its visitors look fabulous on a luxury villa holiday here. The former fishing port is now home to rows of dazzling yachts and makes a wonderful spot for an early evening promenade. And if you are feeling very energetic there is a glorious 14km coastal walk around the peninsular, a lovely way to take in the dramatic views.

Situated between Nice and Monaco it is very well positioned for easy access and for little trips to the other hot spots of the Côte d’Azur.

When to Visit Cap Ferrat

The temperature rises to a pleasant 19°C by May and typically reaches the high twenties in June and July. Don’t rule out a trip later in the season as daily highs of 20°C in October are the norm and even November is still very pleasant at 16°C on average.

What We Love About Cap Ferrat

Best Places To Eat and Drink

There is no shortage of charming bistros in St. Jean Cap Ferrat if you are dining out of your luxury villa, many offering very good regional specialities and wonderfully fresh seafood. But if you are looking for something a little more refined you won’t be disappointed.

There are some superb fine dining options definitely worth trying including the gourmet La Voile d’Or, with its lovely terrace and panoramic views, serving delicious southern cuisine.

Also not to be missed on your luxury villa holiday is the one Michelin-starred Le Restaurant des Rois at La Réserve Hotel, just a mile or so up the road in Beaulieu-sur-Mer, and the highly rated Le Cap restaurant at the Grand Hôtel du Cap Ferrat, where you can dine at the chef’s table for the best seats in the house.
