Location
Chalet 1946 is a luxury ski chalet in Courchevel 1850, located across the road from Les Airelles Hotel where you can access the piste.
The centre of Courchevel is a short drive away and you’ll have the services of an in-resort chauffeur service at your disposal throughout your stay.
The nearest airport is Chambery, approximately 1 hour 30 minutes drive, whilst Grenoble and Lyon airports are approximately 2 hours 10 minutes and Geneva airport is 2 hours 20 minutes drive away.
There is also an altiport in Courchevel 1850 for those travelling by helicopter or private jet.

You can be sure of being wined and dined well at Chalet 1946. Your private chef is on hand from morning to night to prepare gourmet breakfasts, afternoon teas and evening meals, customised to your palate, alongside wines hand-selected by the chalet’s sommelier. The chalet’s staff will be in touch prior to your arrival to ask about your wishes and ensure all your hopes and expectations are met.
Les Airelles Hotel also has several stunning restaurants you are welcome to explore, from the Italian-inspired Piero, to La Table d’Airelles where local, organic ingredients are used to create a beautiful French menu, to Le Coin Savoyard, for those who love regional specialities. There’s also a private dining room, bar and smoking lounge. And, of course, there is a plethora of fabulous restaurants, bars and eateries in Courchevel itself.

Kids
Younger visitors will receive a warm welcome at Chalet 1946. There’s a fabulous playroom, where you’ll find it hard to drag them away from the arcade games, cosy kids’ library, table football, ride-on toys and much more. The private cinema room is sure to go down a storm, too, especially with a bucket of popcorn in front of them. And kids of all ages will enjoy a long dip in the private pool after a tiring day at ski school.
Your dedicated chalet staff will also be happy to arrange outdoor adventures such as dog-sledding, so your little ones can enjoy whizzing around Courchevel in the fresh air with a pack of speeding dogs, picnics on the mountain and horse and carriage rides.
