Description

Chalet Banksy Tribute is, as you can guess, designed entirely around its namesake. Decked head to toe in artwork and unique features, this chalet brings to life quirky installation and performance art in a homely way. Interior designer Mickael Amar Mériguet celebrates Banksy’s freehand graffiti by depicting the elusive artist’s most famous work. The chalet brings Banksy’s anti-authoritarian art to life with stormtroopers patrolling the table football, a retro-gaming arcade machine and shower screen graffiti decking out the bathrooms.

Each of the four bedrooms has unique features inspired by Banksy’s favoured cities and creative mediums. Sleeping up to eight guests, the private space feels incredibly secluded yet sociable at the same time. With bicycles for sinks and exposed brick work, each of the four bathrooms has something unique and interesting about it. In the main living space, the space age fireplace gives off a homely, warm glow enticing you in to spend the evening with a glass of wine looking at the spectacular vistas right outside. The open plan kitchen and living room space is brought together by gorgeous, atypical detailing like the mismatched dining chairs and chequerboard kitchen tiles.

On cold afternoons, when you’ve returned from shredding on the slopes, spend a heavenly hour or three in the residence’s shared spa area soothing your tired muscles in the massage waterfall guns, splashing in the indoor pool and taking some zen time in the steam / sauna room. Private massages and treatments can also be arranged for you and for the fitness enthusiasts there’s an exercise area for you to get a sweat on. If you prefer your relaxation to be framed by the crisp outdoors and the mountain scape, look no further than the private outdoor hot tub on the terrace.

Alternatively, if looking for some friendly off-piste competition, head on up to the mezzanine, to find the retro foosball table or the Gotham themed arcade machine.
