Welcome to your magical bolthole in the snow. Chalet des Cristaux is spread over three floors, with surprises and delights everywhere you turn.
As you drive up to the entrance, it’s clear you’ve arrived somewhere special. Soft light shines onto the snow through the floor-to-ceiling windows, encompassed within a rich wood frame. The property is set within landscaped gardens, so has a real sense of peace and tranquillity, with a sauna in its own ‘mazot’, and a Nordic hot tub, ready to soothe any aches and pains. And that’s before you mention the fabulous Mont Blanc views you enjoy from all over the property.
Inside, an atmosphere of modern rustic chic pervades, with a spacious living room with vaulted ceiling taking centre stage. Here, the modern wood fire, surrounded by glass and a Mont Blanc granite base, provides a warm heart to the property; somewhere for you all to gather and share your adventures after a day on the slopes. A happy mixture of traditional good looks and top-of-the-range technology ensures your every comfort is considered here, from the underfloor heating throughout the chalet to the beautifully designed lighting, that brings atmosphere to every moment.
Nearby, the dining space, with a capacious oak and stone table, close to the kitchen island, allows you to watch your talented chef at work while you relax with your friends, over fabulous food and fine wines.
There are plenty of communal places to kick back in the afternoons after a few hours on the slopes here. The TV/media room offers lots of space to lounge as well as a PlayStation, arcade games, board games, table football and, of course, a huge TV screen on which to catch a movie matinee. For celebrations, or simply making the most of each day of your break, the garden room is a wonderful space in which to catch up with friends, with its lounge area and small bar, and glazed room with dance floor, fully equipped with sounds and lights, which then disappears to reveal an adjustable depth swimming pool.
At the end of each exciting day, you’ll all retire to en-suite bedrooms with stacks of fluffy towels, bathrobes and luxury bath products to help you relax before you drift off to sleep, dreaming of tomorrow’s adventures.
Location
This luxury ski chalet is set within beautiful landscaped gardens, located in the upmarket Les Houches area near Chamonix.
The nearest ski area of Les Houches is a short walk away or if you fancied a change, Le Brevent ski area is approximately 15 minutes drive.
The centre of Chamonix itself is 10 minutes drive whilst the nearest airport is Geneva, approximate 1hr away.

Catering
You’ll be well fed at Chalet des Cristaux and the gourmet experience begins before you even arrive, with a consultation with your private chef to establish all of your party’s likes, dislikes and whims. On arrival, Champagne and canapés will be ready for you, to help you begin your holiday on the right note.
Mornings start in style at this luxury ski chalet, with a selection of hot breakfast dishes to set you fair for a day on the slopes, or a delicious continental breakfast if you prefer.
When you return from your skiing day you’ll find a slap-up afternoon tea ready and waiting for you, with cakes, pastries and lashings of hot drinks to warm you through.
On six evenings, a gourmet four-course dinner will be prepared by your chef. On the chef’s night off, your concierge will be happy to arrange restaurant bookings for you. We love Albert Premier near Chamonix station, and Le Matafan in the Mont Blanc Hotel.
Children are also carefully catered for here, with specially designed kids’ menus, prepared a little earlier in the evening so that no one has to be on their best behaviour at the dining table, and parents can kick back and relax over their meal post-bedtime.
Alternatively, Chalet des Cristaux can also be booked on a self-catered basis if you prefer.

Kids
Young guests are given a warm welcome here, and the property is well set up for them to help them feel right at home.
A kids’ bunk room means they can have their own bolthole away from the grown-ups to make as untidy as they like, and your chef will be happy to prepare special kids’ teas suited to a younger palate.
Kids of all ages will enjoy the media/TV room with its multitude of sofas and pouffes to sprawl on while watching a film and older ones are certain to love the arcade games on the Neo Legend terminal, as well as the football table and piles of classic board games. But if you really want to see them impressed, just watch their faces as the dance floor in the garden room automatically opens to reveal a secret swimming pool beneath!
