The open-plan living room has a wood-burning stove, double-height ceilings and a large, comfy sofa gathered around it strewn with comfy throws and cushions. At the other end is the modern dining area, a dreamy space in which you’ll enjoy long, leisurely dinners, long into the evening. Afterwards, take after-dinner drinks back to the roaring fire or out onto the balconies to watch the stars twinkling over the mountains.
While this luxury chalet makes for a wonderfully sociable entertaining space, there’s also room to find a quiet corner to yourself whenever you need it. Spend a few hours in the private sauna, easing the strains of the slopes away on your luxury ski holiday, or relax in the cosy TV room for a film matinee before champagne appears and the evening commences.

Location
Chalet Elangeni has a prime position close to the centre of La Tania, so you’re never more than a few moments from the bars and restaurants.
Ski access is only metres away from the chalet, so you can be on the slopes and on your way to explore the 3 Valleys within seconds. For beginners and children, the nursery slope is 50 metres away.
The nearest airports are Chambery and Grenoble, both of which are approximately 2 hour’s drive, whilst Geneva is approximately 2hrs 30mins away.

Catering
You’ll be well fed and watered at Chalet Elangeni with a private chef in the kitchen and a host to keep your drinks topped up. On arrival, Champagne and canapés will be ready for you, to help begin your luxury ski holiday on the right note.
Mornings start in style, with a hearty breakfast to set you up nicely for a day on the slopes. On staff days off, a buffet breakfast will be provided.
When you return from your skiing day, you’ll find a slap-up afternoon tea ready and waiting for you, with cakes and hot drinks to warm you through.
On five evenings, a gourmet dinner will be prepared by your chef, including canapés, cheese and petit fours. You’ll also enjoy complimentary drinks including a choice of 18 wines and bubbly selected by Verre Gourmand, plus an open bar with beer, soft drinks and Nespresso coffee.
You’ll have two evenings a week to sample the local restaurants and your chalet hosts will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Kids
Chalet Elangeni is a great chalet for families, with the nursery slopes located 50 metres from the chalet so access to the beginner area is a doddle.
After a busy morning at ski school, kids can enjoy splashing in the outdoor hot tub or get competitive over a game of table football and table tennis. When they’re ready to settle down, they can snuggle under a blanket to watch their favourite films and cartoons in the TV snug.
Your private chef will be able to put together dedicated kids’ teas, designed for younger palates, and served early in the evening so that children can eat in a more laid-back setting.
