Lovely, light and luxurious, Chalet Le Grenier is a wonderfully spacious luxury ski chalet in Meribel spread out over five floors and with room for everyone to ‘do their own thing together’.
The huge, vaulted-roofed living room has floor-to-ceiling windows giving you wonderful views out to the slopes. Two distinct seating areas, made up of squashy sofas around large coffee tables means there is plenty of space for your whole party to lounge and enjoy afternoon tea when you all trudge in from the slopes. An imposing fireplace makes this a really cosy spot to hunker down and look out on the snow.
Nearby, an intimate dining area provides an atmospheric backdrop to the delicious gourmet meals prepared by your chef in the impressive Poggenpohl kitchen.
Elsewhere, a family room is equipped with top-of-the-range audio visual equipment such as Apple TV and a Sonos sound system that will make catching an afternoon film a real experience. If you’re in search of a quieter spot to retreat to, perhaps with a sneaky glass of wine and a book, there’s also a study on this floor, too. Youngsters will enjoy the games room, which is kitted out with something to amuse children of every age, from toys and board games to a snooker table and a PlayStation.
If a little pampering is in order to soothe aching limbs after a morning on the slopes, you can disappear for the afternoon to the chalet’s private spa area. Sink into the Jacuzzi, retreat to the sauna or book a private masseur in the massage room. By the time you emerge ready for bubbly and canapés you’ll feel good as new.
Location
Chalet Le Grenier is conveniently located across the road from the Morel chairlift (approx. 50 metres away) with ski-in access from the Hulotte piste.
The centre of Meribel is just over one km away, however with an in-resort driver service on hand to whisk you in and around resort, getting around is easy.
The nearest airports are Chambery which is approximately a 1h 15 drive away, whilst Geneva is approximately 2 hours away.

Catering
Your private chef and chalet host are on hand to make sure tummies are always full and glasses always topped up during your stay at this luxury ski chalet.
Each morning, a cooked breakfast will set you up for a day on the slopes. Cereals and pastries as well as yoghurt and fresh homemade compote are also available if you prefer a lighter option.
When you return to your chalet after your morning’s ski, afternoon tea, cakes and biscuits will be waiting for you. If you prefer a savoury snack instead, you can opt to have a charcuterie platter with breads and pickles.
On five evenings, a gourmet four-course meal is served, including canapés and a glass of bubbly, while the main meal is prepared. Your personal chef will work with you to come up with a bespoke daily menu, tailored to your requirements.
During meal times, you’ll be served a selection of chateau bottled house wines, with a-la-carte choices also available. With access to an unlimited Champagne, open bar, stocked with wine, beers, premium spirits and soft drinks, you’ll be well looked after at this luxury ski chalet.
You’ll have two evenings a week to sample the local restaurants of Meribel and your chalet hosts will be more than happy to make recommendations and bookings.

Children are given a warm welcome and everything is done to make life for parents as easy as possible.
A wonderfully kitted out games room has a snooker table, Apple TV, PlayStation, Sky and Sonos sound system. There’s also a family room, brimming with audio visual equipment so older ones can watch a film in here if the games room is getting too noisy.
The chalet is served by a lift, so there are no tricky stairs for toddling little ones.
Your private chef will be happy to prepare an earlier children’s tea so that everyone can dine at a more leisurely pace.
