Description

Charming style and views of hills rolling away in the distance are a constant reminder of your rather special location at this luxury villa in Tuscany. You really couldn’t be anywhere else in the world.

Terracotta tiled floors, whitewashed floors, shuttered windows and wooden beams create classic Mediterranean style and a laid-back feel that means you relax the moment you walk through the door.

Villa Due Torri, named for its two beautiful turrets has its own unique style and is one of just six private villas on the Viesca Toscana estate. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and lush greenery, the estate has a truly private feel but with all the benefits of a boutique hotel, including a spa, restaurant and gourmet shop.

But you could easily spend a week here, barely leaving the intimacy of your villa if you wished. Five en-suite double bedrooms give everyone a little bolthole to escape to whenever they feel in need of a little quiet, and the villa has an adjacent three-bedroom cottage, too, so large groups can enjoy Due Torri, with plenty of space to relax.

The ground floor is given over to communal living with a spacious and airy farmhouse-style kitchen, with scrubbed pine table and the old chimney still in place, but all the mod-cons you could wish for in a self-catered villa. Nearby is a pretty dining room with a chandelier over the table for intimate mealtimes indoors, then there’s a cosy living space with comfy sofas and armchairs gathered around the stone fireplace.

Just outside is a loggia, with a dining area and an al fresco living room, so you can make the most of those long Tuscan evenings and starry skies.

The outdoor spaces are possibly our favourite aspect of this charming villa. Shrubs and trees surround a well manicured lawn, while comfy loungers and parasols sit both sides of a stunning infinity-edge swimming pool, in which blue skies are perfectly reflected. Sit back, glass of something delicious in hand, and just drink in your little piece of Tuscan paradise.
