Description

Situated in the stunning south west corner of Mallorca, this magnificent villa, carved into a dramatic hillside, is as classy a holiday home as you’ll find.

Ocaso translates as ‘sunset’, and the villa lives up to its namesakes with spectacular end of the day displays from mother nature, 365 days a year. Built around an ancient olive tree and graced with beautiful bougainvillea, native poplars and swaying palm trees, the setting is perfect for a sundowner with distant views out to Isla de Sa Dragonera, which as the names suggests, resembles a dragon peering out of the shimmering waters. A striking natural feature to watch the sun dip behind.

Accommodating 12 guests amongst its six lavishly designed en suite bedrooms, Luz Del Sol offers levels of luxury unsurpassed in this tranquil corner of Mallorca. With three separate kitchens, a gym, jacuzzi, sauna and even a wine cellar, Villa Luz Del Sol has been created to fulfil every second of your Mallorquin dreams.

Embellished in pale wood and local stone, the interior of the home is light and airy. The white, wooden ceiling beams in each room are a lovely feature and make it even homelier. Adorned with local artefacts and stylish furniture gives the villa a warm and down to earth feel.

The terrace spans the width of the building and incorporates a manicured garden under the olive tree, a shaded dining area and luxury loungers surrounding the piece de resistance: the infinity swimming pool. Infinity pools come in all shapes and sizes, but few actually look as though they flow straight into the Mediterranean. Perched right on the edge of the property, the swimming pool here is sunken into the beautiful stone terrace and then seemingly drops away off the edge. It’s truly a work of art.
