Description

Perched in the hills of San Jose, but only a short drive from the magnificent beaches on the island’s west coast, lies a modern Spanish home of considerable distinction. Designed by esteemed architect Jano Blanco, this voguish villa is surely one of his masterpieces.

Sleeping ten guests in five beautifully created bedrooms, this single storey cube has been thoughtfully designed to offer seclusion, serenity and a lap of luxury for the fortunate few.

It’s the simple things that transform minimalism into a masterpiece. Creating a white box in a pine forest overlooking the Mediterranean Sea is one thing; having the grounds cascade down the hill incorporating a gorgeous lap swimming pool, luxurious loungers, pampering palms and impeccable stone masonry and you have, quite simply, a work of art. Not one but two outdoor lounges sit on the grand outdoor terraces, one shaded by the modern cabana and at certain points on the clock, the other by the natural shade of the pine forest. Tucked away in a corner you will find the outdoor gym, shower and even a sauna, so you never have to pull yourself away from the Ibizan sunshine during your workout.

Timber flower beds with dried pampas flowers and lilac blooms add to the artist’s palette and with that all-encompassing Balearic redolence of pine forest in the summer breeze, there surely can’t be many better places to park up in the evening, armed with a G&T and watch the sun dip into the horizon.

Smooth lines, open-plan living, clever lighting and sophisticated furniture make this one of the most stylish properties in Saint Jose.

The interior was created by revered designer, Jose Antonio Flores. His flair has transformed an uncomplicated space into an elegant gallery. Splashes of colour in cushions, throws, and more strikingly, large artwork prints in the bedrooms and lounge area add a certain richness to the interior.

Each of the five bedrooms offer supreme levels of luxury and comfort and, through the magnificent floor to ceiling doors, present buena vistas across the Mediterranean beyond or into the depths of the pine forest, creating a botanical feel to the bedroom.
